OVERVIEW
The Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRT is a winter tire manufactured for SUV, crossover and light truck vehicles.
This model is a winter tire, with excellent traction for even the most extreme winter conditions. The WRT in the models name means Winter Reactive Technology and it is noted with the mountain and snowflake symbol on its sidewall. This technology, along with the ice tread compound, enhances its grip in snow and on ice, ensuring safety and reliability. The tire avoids hydroplaning, as its circumferential grooves channel water and slush from beneath its tread.
The tires specially designed tread pattern improves its cornering and braking ability. The 3D blades on the shoulder of the tire boost cornering stability, while the 2D blades in the center of the tread shorten the tires braking distance on snow and in ice. The steering precision of the tire was also greatly enhanced for a safer driving experience. This decreases the handling difficulty, making an easily controllable tire.
The Ultra Grip Ice WRTs sidewall design protects the rims from accidental curb damage.
