OVERVIEW

The Yokohama Advan Sport V105 is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The tires unique sport profile ribs increase its driving stability, which in turn promotes even wear across the tread. This, along with the Sport Compound S5 used in manufacturing this model makes its tread life longer. The prevention of irregular wear and the reduced rolling resistance, made possible by the BlueEarth technology, allows the tire to be used for a longer period of time. The lowered rolling resistance also lessens the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of the vehicle. The model is cost efficient and environmentally friendly in this way.

The Matric Rayon body ply in the tires structure improves the accuracy of the steering. The better precision allows the driver to accurately control the tire in all road conditions and it provides excellent road feedback. The tires directional stability was also enhanced with the body ply structure at high speed driving, boosting the tires performance safety.

This model offers superb dry and wet road grip, but it is not recommended for use in winter conditions. The circumferential grooves on the inner portion of the asymmetric tread design and the Sport Compound S5 tire compound increase the tires wet traction and its anti-hydroplaning resistance. This way the tire avoids dangerous situations where deeper water is present on the road surface.

The Advan Sport V105 makes a quiet driving experience possible. The sipes in the tread pattern, in other words the Quiet Sipe Design, reduce the noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle during on-road driving by absorbing the generated soundwaves.
